Only delete the pictures but DON'T format it or all pics will be gone .

I know it's a bit late but even after formatting a drive it is still possible to recover files with the right software. You only lose the files if there are subsequently over-written either partially or wholly.

I have always thought about this. I am just not into nudes myself i can google nude Thai or nude asian girls and get as many images as i need. I prefer shots that just look natural myself but each to their own. I would simply save the pics and send them to an email address and later delete them from the camera/sim before entering customs having not yet opened the email. 

 

I entered customs on the trip before my last one and the customs officer wanted to look at my computer. I asked her if she thought i looked dumb enough to leave anything there for her to find. She smiled and waved me through. She happened to be an ex client of mine from a different industry but i doubt the reaction would of been different otherwise. 

Only really stupid people get caught with that kind of stuff.

It's possible to recover your picture, if you haven't re-written on your card.

You can have free software that permit that, they aren't reserve for the police.

I have had a problem like that in my company and the computer technician has succesfuly recovered a lot of my files.

just e-mail the pictures to your self (set up e-mail account that you don't open til you get back to home base)

delet all Pictures after you send to your self then recover later at home base. .

I have never seen any need to have porn on my HDD at all. The only girly pics I keep on my HDD are shots of gfs, some nude, but nothing that would need to be declared or would cause me any problems with customs.

 

If I did want to look at any hardcore heavy duty porn, the sort of stuff that would get me into trouble with customs, then I can easily find such pics within minutes on dozen of sites.

 

So carrying porn around on laptops and in cameras just seems totally pointless to me.

Get truecrypt and encrypt it. It's free, and relatively easy. You'll keep you private bits private.

 

Customs can look at all kinda stuff if they want to. I've had them turn the camera on and look through the photos, turn a laptop on and look at it for a few minutes. They aren't digital forensic geniuses, and while they probably have the resources available to recover deleted files and hold you until they get a password for you encryption, they're gonna need a pretty good reason to get bothered by it. (if they find a mico SD card hidden in your shoe, they'll suddenly get interested).

The initial free quota is only 2GB. It can be increased a little but not significantly. It is not a good option unless you do not take many photos you want to hide or are selective what you upload.

 

You can get website hosting services very cheaply now with lots of storage space. You can then upload into your webspace. In this way you have full control of it, unlike with services such as Dropbox.

True crypt is a great program.  might be overkill for tg shots but it will keep them secure thats for sure.

I think you all are sick, what you go home and have a pull looking at them, cameras will get you in the sit customs can not wait for men like you that take photos, come to Australia with naked ladies photos and fined out have sex with them and go to the next one that is better.

I take pictures of my ladies all the time, most of them are a little shy about it, but after I show them some of the pictures I've taken they all want my to send them to they're Facebook account.

 

As for going through customs, I've never been asked to look at my gear or pictures.  If they do I have no problem showing them my pictures as they are all tasteful and not full nude.
