How do I set my profile to insert the slogan subscript

Trying to set it up so my slogan appears at the bottom of each post in 'watermark' style, just like my infinitely cleverer bros in arms on this Forum. THANKS.

It's called your "signature."

 

Using the pulldown menu at the upper right of the screen, under your name, choose My Settings

On the settings page you will see Your Options and the options listed as tabs on a light blue background.

Click on the option Profile

A list of things will appear on the left with the first one (Change Profile Information) highlighted in green.

Choose Change Signature.

Use the Edit window to create your Signature, then click Save Changes.

 

I don't know about you, but I find the signatures get old real fast. Many of them are longer than their associated posts and most of them are only worth reading once. They make the page longer and force you scroll more to get through it. I turned off the signatures about two years ago and haven't missed them.
