I'm visiting Jomtien/Pattaya for the first time ever at the end of Sept. Flights and accommodation booked just need to arrange transport from the airport to Jomtien now. The accommodation can arrange transfer from Bangkok Airport at 2,000 Baht incl toll fees, or at 2,500 Baht in a Toyota Camry. Can anyone advise as to whether is is a reasonable price or offer better alternatives?

Mr T will bring you there for a 1000 baht .

Normal taxi from the airport between 1200 and 1500 baht .

Or if you want to go by bus there are some threads in here. I think the bell bus cost about 150 and the other 120 or so, search and you shall find

Bell Bus is 200.- now. But on the airport floor level where you would take Bell there is the boot to buy tickets for the "other" bus for 124.-. Whereas Bell stops at Pattaya bus station, the other one drives rigth to Jomtien.

Pattaya bus from gate 7/8 lower level.... Leaves every two hours from 7am to 9pm... 124 bahts... Last stop at Jomtien thrappisit Rd... 1 hour and a half...

PRE-BOOK either online (site never seems to work for me) or via email and ask for price to your hotel/guesthouse etc. Two weeks ago they got me to my door which is in Jomtien for the original THB 200.00
