Errr i know lets make a film about something i know nothing about.

I love how they're filming the little gift shops on beach rd and the "researcher" referred to it as a "meat market".. Should have had her meet up on a PA Bar Crawl and see the real Pattaya.

Note that she says Nana Plaza is much worse than Pattaya. Shows how ignorant she really is.

Another $25000 dollars in american taxpayer money gone to a good cause. I wonder if she passed her thesis after this? Give that girl a medal, after all, she's helping save the world! America knows best etc etc.

I thought she had some valid points. She just got off track a bit.

 

Maybe I will do a documentary of how many falang lose all their money to pretty Thai girls.

 

She focus way too much on the bad marriages that could happen with any 2 people.

 

That being said, I think Mail order brides is a bad idea by both sides. I also agree that the Thai women who do get stuck in an abusive relationship should have more protection.

 

She tried to add in the nightlife, which I think is really another topic. Her case would have been stronger if she just focused on the women going overseas to marry man she hardly knows.
