Yes, trouble is I don't have a branch in Pattaya although my engineers might enjoy it.

 

On a serious note.... Make sure that they use good quality shielded cable and joints, it's more expensive but well worth the extra.

Guy knows his networking and stocks the cheap and the expensive good cable. Also the plugs, sockets, crimp tools and testers...

I saw this guy a year ago to get some parts. For a simple little job he might have a local who can run the cable for you. It pays to buy the better quality Cat5E cable or if they have it now get the Cat 6 gear.

Master Safety (Andre/sam) will do this work (and they do good work) ... but you will pay dearly.

If you don't mind... define a little more about what you need accomplished. Is this just for small office; or for large building. Depending on application you might be fine with wireless. Or if large scale, or different buildings, you might need fiber connectivity. Also what can influence your design is if you are going to pass video or voice over IP. (techie stuff) Cabling isn't the only part of an equation for success.

 

Sorry, I won't be in Thailand until November. If you don't get answers before then, be glad to talk about this... just no work as I don't have a WP.
