Internet Access Quality and Options

I have just arrived in Pattaya for an extended (possibly permanent) stay. I will be doing some work here and need a pretty decent Internet connection. If you have stayed at one of the following places for any length of time, could you tell me how's the Internet access provided with the room? Has anyone got a DSL internet connection (or one of the cable Internet connections) to the room while staying there?

For anyone interested, I ended up picking the "The Green Roof Mansion" and ordered cable Internet from Sophon. The price is a more than I expected to spend but the service has been excellent and well worth it. They were very helpful on the phone and installed it the next day.

 

The speed is currently as advertised and the reliability has been rock solid. I understand that it is using CAT's new fiber network so I expect it to continue this way. However, if it doesn't, I will make sure to update everyone here.

I have had Sophon broadband (cable) for a year. Service has generally been quite poor. The last month or two the service has deteriorated significantly with several disconnections every day. Sophon are good for bittorrents, they do not appear to block or throttle them.
