It's not on this list, but I'm a big fan of The Flipper Lodge (soi 8 Beach Rd. side).

It's only about 1,000-1,500 baht and includes a great pool on the top of the hotel.

Now, it also has a very good buffet (I am told, haven't tried it yet)!

All of the hotels mentioned are girlfriendy, but are there hotels on the list that 'refuse' girls +18 but -20? Or hotels that ask a joiner fee for a third person (second girl)?

 

April Suites and August Suites ask a joiner fee of 500 bht for a third person.

 

As for the age, I've never been with a girl under 20, so I haven't got the foggiest.

According to agoda stats, these are the top 14 hotels in Pattaya that our forum members stay at. (not in order)

 

Most of these hotels get full especially during high season, so its good to prebook them early! Then you don't need to find another hotel (disturb your mongering) and so you don't use your short time cash on hotel funds.

 

They are all girl friendly, if any policies change on that, I will remove them from our poll.

 

Please vote, which one is the all round best? price, location and quality

Most of the hotels will charge for 2 ladies. As the general rule is the room is for 2 people.

I have stayed at Areca Lodge- Evergreen my last 3 trips. I am considering LK Ren or LK Metro which are across the street. Anybody have suggestions? Has anyone stayed at all 3?

Tim boutique's my favourite in town .... have to keep an eye open for deals.

 

Areca is ok but last time I was there - no wifi in the rooms and got bitten by insects in area with wifi

Everytime I go to Patt I stay at the hotel Residence Garden. I just love it, maybe a little bit expensive, 1600 baht, but very quiet and closed to the action.

i stayed at the golden ville hotel for 12 nights nice clean quite and very relaxed about 1 or 2 or even 3 joiners only downside no pool far enough away from Walking Street

but close enough to walk in 5 mins

Isn't Tim's pretty strict on the joiner's fee for 2 or 3 ladies? That could add up quickly!

Been to Pattaya 8 or 9 times, never booked any of those hotels, never stayed at them either, stayed at hotel close to one of them, the Eastiny, as I usually hang Soi 7 or 8. I get into BKK hop a cab and show up at front desk, no reservations, gimme a room. They always have at least 1. If they didn't, I tell them to find me one, someone will have one somewhere but never had to ask. After a couple weeks, I'll move across 2nd road for the quiet, Caesar Palace, still close or jump over to Jomtien, cleaner beach, not as many umbrellas or xxxxing wave runners and boats with parachutes attached. Really thinking of buying a cheap condo, 1.5 to 2m baht and just leaving it empty until retirement when I can make it permanent and trade it in for as down payment. That is if my boat comes in, I've given up on the ship coming in. Eff that booking online, got a Virgin Mobile phone, pay as you go, can call Thai, talk to desk, make a deal, ask if they are renovating, been to 2 different places on soi 8 where the jackhammers were going pretty good, no fun. Off to Jomtien for me then.

soi 8 sunshine is not a bad hotel just make sure you get one of the high floors then you can not here the nose from the bars blow

Why would anyone not book a room as a double room to avoid the joiner fee is beyond me.

 

Booking a double room will not always avoid the joiner fee. If the hotel is not "girl friendly" they will still charge a joiner fee ----- unless the girl has registered when you first check in.

General I Have to agree with what you say and the condo etc.... However there are walking ATMs both in Buriram and Udon!

 

Not wanting to be flamed on my first post here but I hope that a simple DNA test was used to ensure that you are not continuing as a walking ATM in your absence !

Stay at the Marriott and get one of the rooms on the ground floor, around the pool area. Then bring your dates thru the Beach road extrance side, near swensens ice cream. Only a sec guard that will help if you need it, but generally leaves you alone. Can bring a couple with you. Rooms are large enogh for 3-4 people. Pool is fantastic for lounging the following day.

it is not mentioned in the list i have stayed all the three times in centera beach hotel now called basaya beach hotel. the location is great and the breakfast is quite elaborate very big pool and garden. the superior rooms faces the garden and the pool and is very airy and comfortable.the only thing is the rooms are a little outdated but the room service is good. std room 1500bhats and superior 1900 bhats during season and much cheaper during off season. there is no joiner fee and are not bothered how many chicks you bring in, just tip the bell boys and you are a king. good hotels and soi 7 and 8 bars all within walking distance. you can also hop to the beach and pick up fl stunner and be back to your room in 20minutes.
