Most of these hotels get full especially during high season, so its good to prebook them early! Then you don't need to find another hotel (disturb your mongering) and so you don't use your short time cash on hotel funds.

 

They are all girl friendly, if any policies change on that, I will remove them from our poll.

If I have to stay at the Hotel, Areca Lodge is simply the BEST in Quality/Money!

Tim Boutique for me , location , quality ( great rooms and pool ) and service

 

For many years I stayed stayed at the Diana Inn , but it has got too tired and the service levels fell too much

 

Tried to book the Areca twice, but they didn't reply to my emails

Siam Bayview offer great location on beach road and many rooms with seaview, 2 pools and quality restaurant, open in 1982 but many renovation since. A great hotel, really first class intenational standard, with large garden from beach to second road, even i prefer the Siam Bayshore because in walking street and more large garden. Not really girl friendly usually 1000 bahts joiner if you don't book a double room.

Wow I have only been to LK Renn out of the list, shows you how many hotels there are in that place.

Royal Suites is very good.

I think Arecalodge has good position,good value for price.

stayed in page 10 in june but the wi-fi did not work in my room it seemed to be a problem on one side of the hotel.

Tims boutique had a very smelly room the drains?.

i have always stayed on the darkside at the dao cafe but will stay at the rockhouse this trip as the rooms are immaculate

April Suites seems to be the @in place@ at the moment. Mainly due to (very low) prices + new decor + decent enough location.

I have stayed at Baboona hotel on two occasions and was happy with quality and service. Cons, it's a long hike to Walking Street. Also tried J hotel, very new, modern and great pool, however it is a long way from the beach and action. Ideal for a family.

Last year (Oct./Nov 2010) I stayed at LK Premier Residence just across 3rd Road. A short walk down Soi Chayapoon to Soi Buakow and Soi LK Metro. No pool or gym on site but access to other LK hotels although I never used. Free wifi (or plug in) and coffee and cookies and cooking/eating facilities in the main floor lounge, I paid 13000 Baht ($429.00 Can) for 1 month; which works out to 420 Baht or $14.00 Can per day. An excellent facility and a great experience I would not have found without the help of the expat community at Canterbury Tales Cafe.

Now I stay with girlfriend in her (sister's) condo in Central Condotel or on the farm in rural Buriram. On my first trip (2009) I paid 1600 Baht/night for the first 3 nights in Bangkok(booked ahead) and then 450 Baht/night in Pattaya(took a flyer). I like comfort as much as the next guy but I can't understand paying some of the prices I see quoted. Money is for ladies and booze.

Looks like you have a deep wallet, if you call that a bargain !

 

Last trip i satyed for first in august suites and it was perfect. Only negative was the 500 Baht joiner fee for my second guest. But i could have cared less as that Baccara girl "kway" was smoking hot, even my GIK told me she was hot!

I enjoy the Tycoon place. Close to everything and has a great pool, the front deask girls are cunt's. The LK group has great quality, but for a six month vacation it's real expensive. Areca Lodge, great location-(SOI Diana)--pricey for the digg's. The old part had carpeting from the 70's----the goo and bacteria level was like sleeping in a used condom. With so many new Condo's it would be nice to hear from the members what they think?

For me Areca Lodge and Pattaya Bay Resort are simply the best (location, price, service and more)!

When the two are full I go to Citin Lodge.

I come to Pattaya every 2-2.5 months for a week or more (I live and work in Cambodia).

Would love to know why anyone would spend time in Buriram? I have been supporting some girl there because I have child there with her. Stayed at the best hotel there but the nightlife was slim at best. I could not wait to get back! Staying with family? get real------I was a walking ATM.-------Now Udon Thani, that's a whole new story! Oh that story about her sister's condo.....That's some Falangs place she is using. The girl is smarter than you think cheap Charlie--it will bite you when you least expect it! No Free ride in Thailand!

I have to say I have not been back to Buriram since they opened Big C. They have a small square with disco's and a place called Bamboo bar. Is there some places I am missing? It's where most Pattaya girls come from. However, I found it boring. Maybe it is because I will be raped of all funds once I meet the "girls" family? It's great for 2 day's----after that, I want outta there!....................Whats with the Airport? The huge Hotel (11 stories) that's a shell and out of business for 13 years+? Buriram is like a rabbitt's womb, putting out beautiful women for Pattaya. To bad they didn't have a beehive of lady's bars for bored visitors!

Love to hear about the secret places to visit in Buriram. Simple. Some members must know!
