I went to the spot where the mud river meets the mekong. very nice. There is a very, very expensive resort at that spot on the mekong. You have to fly to Ubon and take taxi 1 hour to it.

I cycled along the mekong from Nakhon Phanom till Khemmarat. Impressive and charming river. Also the people living ans fishing there
