I'm looking around at different guesthouses and hotels for my upcoming trip but I have a bathroom "fetish" I guess you could say. I really don't care for the Thai style where the water goes everywhere and you have wet feet when you go to take a shit. I'd prefer a separate walk-in shower or the tub/shower combo.

 

I usually stay at the LK Ren or Areca but thought I'd try one of the guest houses this trip. Do any of them have western bathrooms or am I going to have to stick to the more expensive hotels for that?

Try the Pasadena in the corner of LK Metro, managed to keep my feet dry.

The Pasadena might work and it has a great location. Canterbury has always looked nice to me but it's still got that Thai bathroom albeit, with a curtain which would help. That place is always booked though.
