sunshine hotel and residence soi 8

booked the sunshine hotel and residence from 30th october to 05 november anyone else staying here during this time frame photos looked ok and everyone on here has said soi 8 is good location my room residence standard sea view for total of about 350 aud on bookings.com for 6 nights breakfast included not bad right?

I found it to be a great location. Is it in the Residences part of the hotel? That part is newer, though found the room a bit small for a long stay. Keep on the good side of the night reception girls and buy them some fries from the burger stand outside. Did you book for two people? If you did then your bar fine gets a free buffet breakfast. Not that I'm a Cheap Charlie. Well, maybe a bit... it all adds up.

 

PS. If you plan on taking some stiffening pills, avoid buying from the pharmacy opposite.

 

PPS. The night shift girl at the burger place is called Shampoo, she takes no shit from anyone. Buy her an ice cream on your way back and you have a friend. A few working girls hang out there after they finish work and haven't been bar fined. There is a pie stand outside the pharmacy at night, reasonable prices.

ok so ill avoid the pharmacy i did read there was a good pharmacy behind soi metro on buakow do u recomend? yes its residences seaview nice to hear this is newer and i did book for two so ill get buffet breakfast nice! thx for your fast reply and ill be sure to take ur advice and treat the staff well im sure it has great benifits thx again mate

For the last two trips I've stayed with Sunshine, in the residence wing, of course. You'll find the hotel to be in a good spot, convenient to just about everything you need. I know you booked for a sea view room, but when you check in, make sure they put you on a high floor, otherwise the noise from the street might be bothersome to you. They're building a new wing, so I'd be interested in hearing if it's finished by the time you're there.

 

I've never had an issue with the stiffening pills bought from the pharmacy across the street, so I'm not sure what PallMall is alluding to.

 

I've made my reservations for 21 Dec through 12 Jan and it's not going to be here soon enough!

Note the 7-11 nextdoor for the icecream, lol!

Also, beware the ladyboys harassing you from across the road while you wait for your burger.

They especially like the young guys!

 

Oh btw, your hotel is about 50 yards or so up towards 2nd road from the burger stand.

Just move the little man in the link above to get a virtual tour of Pattaya. It may look a little boring in the day time, but the place comes alive at night & looks totally different.

Stayed here first trip. No mention was made at time of booking that they were going to demo the old wing.

Notice was posted that work would only be from 9-5 each day.

B*llshit from dawn to dusk,jack-hammers etc. Ended up closing both pools too.

No comp offered.....

All that said the staff was great, clean sheet's and towels daily.

One other note, most girls asked "How much?" and I told them 900B a day, and all said "Too MUTT"

Oh man, there is hardly better location than Soi8, except if you like going to bed at 10pm, it might be a bit noisy...

 

I stayed there once, and it is not bad. The only thing is that they don't accept girls under 20yo. I usualy never get girls that young, but it can happen... and if it does, you have to go to a SThotel.

Well, they may have changed their policies by now.

hey thx all for the replys some great info here noise shouldnt be a hassle i dnt plan on sleeping before 2 am so all should b great hopefully they have changed there policys on girls under 20 i dnt mind an 18 19 yr old but doesnt really matter can always go to a st hotel im sure the girl will know were to go if they wnt accept her because of age thx again everyone
