One issue is very important to immune system boosting is cleaning mind from any mess and daily shit.

If it is possible for you to keep clean/peaceful/empty mind for three hours a day, let say for a week, you will boost your immune system to max possible level for present body chemistry and physical condition. Believe me guys its not so easy to do. Ok, three hours sounds to me unrealistic in our daily hamster-weeling, but one hour... why not?

When we are taking vacations, we are in most of cases simply switching one daily-business junk to another holiday-noise in our mind.

And of course with extra drugging and drinking.

So maybe our body are on vacations, but our "CPU" sometimes are on heavier load than at home.

Bright yellow piss is from taking beroccas, only 1 or 2 a day turns my piss yellow, 5 a day will make it turn orange.

Sounds like you been burning the candle at both ends. Sorry guys but the whole Pattaya holiday thing is very unhealthy, late night in smoky bars, drinking heaps of piss, taking viagra and other stuff and shagging all night long, doing these things will wear you down fast. Try a healthy lifestyle for a change, lay off the piss, get exercise, early nights, relax, eat good food. It works...

I thought that was against the rules. The way some bars act when I order water.

Nothing wrong with ordering water. Bars understand that we can't drink alcohol all the time.

Eat healthy, exercise some, and take quality natural vitamins and minerals, no cheap synthetic shit. Keeping your immune system strong is essential when mongering. If it is weak, you will be more susceptible to STDs. You can even contract shit from BBBJs. Lot of shit is going around but keeping your immune system strong will protect you from much of it.

Are you getting enough quality sleep? One of the most important factors for the immune system, a chronic shortage of sleep can be very damaging to your health.

Hey, Imhooked... I had a similar problem. My immune system seemed to go down if I had too much sex say over a week. I used to get sort of like a cold with running nose and cough which really set me back several days. I was trying various immune system boosters from pharmacies but you cannot take them for a long period of time because they stop working after some time or there are some undesirable side effects. And another thing I noticed is that my immune system usually goes down after I stop taking them.

Then I read this book. The author is a herbalist in third generation. It appears that there are tons of plants which have immune boosting properties without side effects and which you can take as long as you like. Unfortunately they are very poorly commercialized due to lack of proper research and possibly low profit prospects.

I'll tell you about my experience: I've been taking scotts pine pollen, tienchi ginseng, nettle root and cryptolepis everyday for about 6 months and, man, trust me I haven't been sick even a little bit since I started taking them. It doesn't matter if anybody is sick near me and no matter how exhausted my body is my immune system is always on top of its performance...

They do not sell this stuff in Thailand. But you can buy the stuff in the US herbal shops. There are also some internet shops which can deliver even to Thailand but it will cost you I guess...

Edit: I've just noticed you are from Oz... I guess they sell the stuff in Oz too... just check your local herbal shop.

I can relate to this post, I've been living in Pattaya since April and now my body is suffering for it. Partying and whoring every day practically, eating crap food, it is all taking its toll on me.

When I fist came here I was exercising at a gym but thats disappeared from my routine. I feel run down all the time, I've had a cough and cold for weeks now, regularly have the shits and rarely get much sleep - even when I'm alone and not with a lady.

The problem I have is going out and NOT drinking alcohol. It just doesn't feel right to sit in a bar and drink water. Plus I need a drink or two to liven myself up when I go out at night.

I have to agree with the previous posters about adequate REST. And about flushing your system with clear fluids.

At 60 I have found myself slowing down the party merry-go-round :Party1: , even at home. But it is clear to me that it happens more on vacations (trying to get every $ worth) anywhere. But each time I have spent in Asia, the air pollution :Blur: seems to make everything worse. I just tucker out much sooner.

The only think that has helped somewhat, is regular sleep hours.. uninterrupted. Not what you want to hear when on vacation, but the truth.

A good site to read is:

Just my 2 cents... don't think there are any diet or magic pills. If there really is a magic pill.. send me a case soon! :Flying:

Well said mate!!!

I have been taking this stuff for over 15 yrs.

The reason I know it works is when I stop taking it for a week or so I go down hill big time.

Side affects are it is a aphrodisiac for men. Makes your sperm like glue.

Great for us guys getting on a bit!!!

Hey, who you talking about "getting on a bit?" Oh.. probably me and a bunch of my mongering old fart friends.

I did some reading and saw that this "stuff' has a lot of good things in it. Some are know as good antioxidants.

There is no exact recipe for chyawanprash. The number of herbs used in preparation of the paste varies from 25 to 80, but the main ingredient of all Chyawanprash is amla, also known as the Indian gooseberry.[5] Other chief ingredients are dried long pepper catkins, cinnamon, asparagus, ashwagandha, turmeric, ghee (clarified butter), dehydrated sugar cane and honey.[

So where do you get this stuff? Just might give it a try... the old peter certainly can use the help. :Cross_Fingers:

Here is some advice for those guys that need a boost...

Top 10 Immunity Boosters

1-Eat nine to 10 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.

2-Take a multivitamin plus vitamin E, vitamin C, and calcium

3-Get moving for 30 minutes a day.

4-Get your eight hours sleep

5-Pay attention to your psychological health.

6-Drink eight to 10 8-ounce glasses of water and once cup of tea a day.

7-Eat the good fats, not the bad.

8-Take 400 IU of vitamin D a day.

9-Practice stress reduction techniques.

10-Get a massage.

Choosing healthy fats (such as the omega-3 fatty acids available in oily fish, flaxseed, and krill oil) over saturated fats (found in meat and dairy products) may help increase your body's production of compounds involved in regulating immunity. For an additional immune boost, try adding garlic (shown to possess virus-fighting and bacteria-killing properties) and ginger (a natural anti-inflammatory) to your meals on a regular basis.

Drinking plenty of water and steering clear of sugary beverages, like soda and energy drinks, may also help fend off infection by flushing out. Another healthy habit vital to preventing sickness is getting a full eight hours of sleep each night, which may help regulate immune function.

stop worry about what you have to take to make you feel better,if your ill go to the doctor but if your looking for a boost just live without popping pills, do a little excercise like going to the gym, makes me feel tons better,if you take all these vitamins thinking its going to fix everything it never will, excercise is the best form of wellness

Exercise and hydration are key as well as a relaxed mental state. Stress is a key culprit in breaking down immune response.

Just stay hydrated, eat lots of dark green vegetables, stay away from the saturated fats in fast foods, remain active and positive and maybe invest in a sports multivitamin supplement with heavy antioxidants (vitamin E, C, ect,) VitaminD is also helpful, though your body can synthesis adequate amounts from just a short time in the sun.
