Over the years I have stayed on Soi 7/8 and Soi 13 and for the last 3 years in the Jasmine Hotel on Soi BJ off of Walking Street.

 

I am very tempted to go back to the Jasmine for my next trip as it has met my needs however I thought I would also see if there are any other recommendations out there that match my criteria:-

 

750 - 900 baht range - not because I can't afford more but because I don't like to spend my cash on accommodation

 

Close to walking street - I tend to take mid evening ST's (sometime between 9pm and 12am) and like to go back out drinking straight after and I'm not a huge fan of Tuk-Tuks or motorcycle taxis and don't want to be walking very far.

 

Quiet - Between 4am and 12pm as thats usually when I'm sleeping.

 

Decent free wifi - So I can come on here

 

Safe - In room safe would be good (the Jasmine doesn't have that) failing that secure lockboxes in reception would be okay.

 

Pool - Not required for fear of being harpooned.

 

Would be interested to hear if anyone has any alternate recommendations.
