What are the best accommodations on Soi LK Metro? Not the cheapest or most expensive just the best in your opinion and why? I've stayed at Billabong and liked it. Planning a mid November trip.

the rockhouse,hands down the best

I've stayed at the Irish Rover for my last 3 trips and found it ideal for me, it is friendly bar good location. The Large room with balcony are good value for money, and better if staying for more than 3 or 4 days.

I will defiantly stay there on my next trip

The LK Metropole hotel is surrounded by Soi LK Metro although not exactly on it. It's where the Soi's name came from I believe. It is probably the nicest place in the neighborhood, but a jump in price from the guesthouses on LK Metro itself. Still cheap by western standards.

I always stay as metro apartments. The rroms are always clean and the staff are great. The bar inside has air con and there are sofras outside for relaxing as well. It were i always stay, ive done a few nights here and there on soi LK but i'll always go back to metro apartments. Im there in 3 moew days, omg i cant wait

 

Ps The argmagedden bar has some very nice bars also,

The name LK is shorht for Leng-Kee, the family who devaloped the LK area and many others. Easy to tell when the LK family has been involved in a project; look for the letters LK somewhere on the building

In soi lk metro have many good hotels and guesthouses for cheap price by western standard.

 

But in lk metro many bars open very late,so if you want sometimes get early sleep you need to get good drunk.

 

So i think the noise of the lk metro bars in the late night is the main reason why accommodations prices very cheap in lk metro.

Robins Nest above the restaurant has decent balcony rooms, just around the corner from LK Metro. Not a fan of the Sawadee place across the road. I don't want to put you off LK Metro if that is where you want to be, for me as I get older I find the noise disturbs me.

best one really at the moment,, is just walk some meter more of soi lk , soi bokau way to klang i,where the street turns little right

you have the R con resdence,,, fantastic, clean, and big rooms at the monet in real real bargain price per night 600 thb ( sorry much underpayed even for the time and pattaya ) i think offer last until october, after its 1700 ( not so sure ).

perfect location , perfect place , for people want to stay in center

LK Metro is a noisy area , Rockhouse good if you dont mind the noise .

 

Otherwise for a bit of luxury LK Metro Hotel is also quieter.

I have stayed there every trip but going to move on this trip try somthing new. Keeta good value but the hallway light is on 24/7 and there is glass panaling so your room is bathed in a yellow glow drives you crazy but good clean room big no wi fi stayed 2009

 

Above the office before it was the office nice private side entrance but people kept forgetting to lock the door could have been robbed clean rooms quit at the back but very small big rooms at the front no wi fi when i was there stayed 2010

 

Rock house big rooms at the front the back rooms are a good size and very quit very clean the shower is party size wi fi bar only stayed 2009/2010

 

Drunken duck bigrooms well furnished as it has been renovated in the last 12 months clean will also take your laundry out the guys there are always very helpful make you feel at home free wi fi in the rooms stayed 2009 nov

 

redshop5 stayed a month good big room clean but old great shower really hot free wi fi, cheap payed 600baht a night smaller room was 500 baht a night but has changed hands now stayed 2011

 

billabong room was big but it had a really bad stench from the bathroom girls were commenting on it made it hard to sleep they have fixed this now i believe stayed 2009

 

there is a golf place oppisite fat bob's big rooms very nice but will never stay there agian the rule are you break it you pay for it had the bracket break on the haND held shower fatigue the clip for it 400baht so if you break a tile, fridge or tv beware i think the guys name was shamus not sure also restricted to 1 and 1only guest so forget about 3somes i even offered to pay extra WILL NEVER STAY OR DRINK THERE AGIAN stayed june 2010

 

liquid lounge good big room but being on soi buckhow too noisy people start going to work around 6am got very little sleep stayed 2009

I stayed at the Thai Archer Guesthouse back in 2005 when the Soi LK Metro was just being developed.

I had a top floor room with two balconies, still the best room I've had in Pattaya!

Back then it was 10000 baht for a month.

A year later they have hiked the price to 15000 baht a month with a new owner so I never stayed there again.
