I'm trying to find a good deal for flying to BKK later this month, normally i go with Emirates flying from Manchester to dubai, then onto bkk.

 

i love emirates, especialy the entertainment system for me this is a must on a flight. being able to choose movies/shows to watch.

 

the only decent price i can find is with swiss air, but i know nothin about them

 

hopefully the standards of quality aint that much lower than emirates.

Food very simple and tasteless in my opinion, some of the dishes only veggies no meat, no snacks or specials in between the lunch/dinner and breakfast.

Air stewardesses old and not especially attractive looking, service standard.

Inflight entertainment quite good with plenty of movies and music, but so has most modern airlines nowadays.

Had to change airplanes at Zurich long way between terminals, but shuttle train is available, very short transit time so no time to explore the airport.

It's a no frills airline but to a nice price.

I never flew Emirates so can't comment on them, but airlines like Singapore Airlines, EVA Air or even Quantas beats Swiss hands down!
