What makes 4 a good wing in bargirl bars/gogos?

I wasn't sure what a "wingman" was so just Googled it. Seems a lot to ask from a total stranger. I mean honestly no offence to you at all but you could be a total asshole who starts fights in bars and shit like that and a total stranger has to stand by your side and look out for your ass?

I would have to agree with you on this one but thank god all the people I have met from this site have been some real decent people, my advice for the OP is go to an Addicts meeting I am sure you will find somebody who wouldn't mind making the rounds with you. But like the previous poster stated that is a lot to ask from a total stranger. But as far as qualities go I would have to assume

 

one that doesn't drink more/ as much as you or at least knows how to handle his drinking

 

a go with the flow type of person

 

when you barfine the stunner and she doesn't want to leave her slightly unattractive friend a good wingman would take one for his team and (thinks before I speak) go with her being that she isn't so unattractive you pay her to stay in the bar.

 

Assuming you are not a "total asshole who starts fights in bars and shit like that" but IF you were to get into a fight a good wingman wouldn't let the situation escalate to the point of a fight because a wingman should know what can happen to a reckless pilot in Thailand... he would break it up make sure bin is paid and leave.

 

I'm sure there are more qualities than that bu those are just some off the top of my head, but also the question is, what qualifies a good captain...?

I think a good wing man is one who doesn't get caught up in some trim too soon. I enjoy hanging out for a while while enjoying a drink, the sights, and laughs. A wing man who taps out 30 mins into the night is weak to me.
