There are lots of quality pool players in every bar that has a table. Just ask who is the best player and tell them you will buy them a drink if they can beat you.

There's a handicap pool competition at 6pm every Sunday at Megabreak. 500 baht entry and you're guaranteed at least 2 matches with cash prizes for the winners; you get some food as well.

Not being a big head ( well actually i am ) but when i was in the bar across from corner bar ( soi cowboy bangkok) i lost the first game against one of the bar girls no less but then went on to not lose again for 3 hours ( winner stays on) and i had seemingly all the local thai lads and girls challenging me for thend last hour + i was pissed after the second hour ( to be fair the guys took the beatings in good spirit i did have a problem with a russian i beat a couple of times

To be fair that was a really good night and the pockets looked like buckets and i was in a good mood which always makes a difference and the table in there was quite good.

I did play on one of those outside pool tables in pattaya but didn't like it. Nither did i like the pool tables at goodfellows although i did win a few. I don't actually play much pool these days back home but i used to have a table years ago and was always on it

If you know of any good tables iin pattaya and you are there the same time as me - september probably - i'll give you a game

In the Megabreak at soi Diana there you will find many good players, beware of the thais there who wants to play for money, you cant beat them.

Best to get contact to other players is just play a tournament there, dont take it to serious as the handycap tries to give everyone a chance to win.

There are about 3 or 4 really good Thais in the Megabreak, just watch them playing in the tourneys and you will know.

I play a pretty good game if i say so myself. I always play for my mates bar when im out. When im playing in bars thatr follow the winner stays on rule, i always try to get some money involed. Its actually works out really well because i seem to play better when im drunk, which is good if your winning 15-20 games in a row and everyones wacthing you downing drinks for the whole time. I mean the bar girls are no worth playing seriously, same are very good but most rubbish. Ive been to that place on soi diana as i always stay soi LK and personally ive seen a few thai guys play, i enjoy a challenge but i dont like the throw drinking and whore money away
