Can someone please explain why the spell check button appears on my PC when I use Internet Explorer but disappears when I use Google Chrome or Safari? See pic's below.

I use Chrome and it spell checks on the fly. It just underlines any misspelling with a jagged red line. I right click to get the suggested correct spelling and that's it.
