Want to buy Pick up for November 2011

I will be moving back to Patts this Nov and am looking to purchase a truck. Isuzu or Mitsubishi pref!!

Im asking on here as Id like to buy ex-pat if possible, maybe from someone returning back home around then or simply upgrading?

My budget is 500,000 - 600,000bht and would like a 4 door cab. Colour not important just the condition, well serviced and maintained please?

 

Could be a long shot, but if u dont ask u dont get???

Why buy one when you can rent one for 1200 a day with first class insurance included ?

 

So renting one at 1200 per day divided into 600,000 = 500 days of use.

If you use it 1 time a week 500 days is over 10 years with - no maintenance, no registration, no insurance, no depreciation, no washing waxing cleaning, no parking place needed.

Plus you always have an almost new one to drive when needed and other types of vehicles at your ready disposal.

 

Ride the motorbike everywhere you need to go and rent a vehicle when you really need one for something.

All furniture and most everything else large you buy, delivery can be negotiated if not offered outright and then I do not have to carry it and find someone to lift the other end. You can also hire a Baht Bus for next to nothing to haul something for you within minutes of finding out that you need to.

At least that is what I would do. From my experience staying in Pattaya from 30 - 50 days per trip 3-4 times a year I would only maybe need it once a month or so anyway.

I see what ur saying and it makes sense if I didnt have a 7 year old daughter to run to school each morning, n family trips n days out etc... Plus we live just outside Patts off the 36 Highway! Families hey!!!

Family situation with a 7 year old - Well that is a darn good reason.

I would not take a child on motorbike like the locals do at 3-5 people at once.

 

I got the Vasectomy so no matter how hard my girl tries to get pregnant it will never happen (Insert evil laugh here)

Unless well you know and then I will just get a new girl. (Insert longer evil laugh here)
