beautiful place but i have forgot the name of it,

 

if anyone is up there i would recommend going nice views and abit of culture however a few days enough as you miss the madness of pattaya,

Thanks interesting pics. I have only driven through Burirum but have heard that the province is rich in old Khymer temples. So I must make the effort to check them out some day. It's not too far away from Patts either. Last year I went to Angkor Wat for the first time and that was a remarkable experience. Was there any addmission fee to visit the temple you show here?

yes very nice place to visit, i think the admission was 50 baht this is only one of the temples there are a few in the area,

 

i went to this one because when the sun sets, the light travels all the way through the temple and out the other side which was amazing to see after it being built all those years ago.

Hello mate its called ''Phanom Rung historical park'' , went there myself with my ex TG back in 2008 , this is a piccy of me at the place ... very interesting place to visit just goes to show Thailand as a rich history ,

Yes, lots of old Khymer-style temples around Burirum, Surin, Sri Saket. I'm not too clued up on dates & history but I suspect they are Angkor period. I'm keen to get back to Siem Reap and have another couple of days going around those fabulous ruins.
