Use True Intersim using 00600 prefix and 1 baht a minute to all landlines in a country any board member is likely to come from.

I use True International Simcard, work fine ...

 

Start 1 bath/min on fixed line (using 00600 prefix)

 

I think true inter sim is the Cheapest solution ;-)

Yes its excellent-information came from this forum originally.

 

Am coming to end of a 2 month stint in Thailand and have gone through the grand total of just 283 baht ringing the UK. !!

Fair point although virtually everyone with own house still has landline installed.

 

Mine never gets used (maybe £2 a month or something) but its there for internet. My oldest dont like answering landline (think its old fashioned) but I aint paying 8 baht a minute to a mobile when its 1 baht to the landline !!
