To say, "I need to think about it"

In Thai, would 'I need time to think about my decision" or along the lines of...

 

Would - Khob Khitt du gon

 

... make sense

kit du gone is sufficient, that's what I've heard Thais say a hundred times a day.

There is 2 ways of saying this:

 

1, KOR WAY - LAR KIT GORN KAP = Please give me time to think. ('KOR' is to ask politely, a little bit like saying 'please')

 

2, KOR WAY - LAR DAT SIN-JAI GORN KAP = Plesae give me some time to decide in my heart. (SIN-JAI translates to 'Decide in my heart' or 'Decision')

 

Both of these amount to pretty much the same thing & both are polite to say.
