UK you have warranty, Thailand you have nothing

That's even worse. I have one from true, mine only 5 months old and it's freezing up, part of touch screen does not work- each tine they tell me to reset the phone. Not even once they took it in to inspect

Problem is that if you buy it in Thailand it might be a copy (Iphone or any other phone) even if sold through a reseller... And forget all about guarantee as the word does not exist in the Thai dictionary - except for a few resellers of FAKE watches

There is no best option. You can buy from Tuk com, but 100% no warranty even though they will tell you have.

 

Other option is to buy from telco like dtac or true but it's 3-4 weeks wait after paying the deposit.
