You're probably right. Just a thought since I'm land locked until November.

I lived in Palo Alto for many years. Used to hang out at Antonio's Nut House, British Bankers Club in Menlo Park, and St. James Infirmary in Mountain View before it burned down. But I won't be able to make it because I live in Pattaya now.

WOW Piece Corp small world. I grew up in Atherton and my neighbor owned the BBC. I'm in Southern Oregon now trying to move to Thailand within 5 years. I don't want to live their full time just 6 months a year. I'm 42. Trying desperately for 2 trips a year. But this shitty economy isn't helping that cause.

Another member here who grew up and lived in that area. Belmont and San Carlos.

 

I spent some time in the BBC and other bars in Palo Alto back in the day. The eighties. sorry to hear that St; James Infirmary burnt down I went there a couple of times.
