hi guys looking for a fully equipped gym , for weightlifting and powerlifting in pattaya just a nice friendly safe place to lift .

any recomendations would be good .

What's Tony's worth if you pay by the month?

Ijust arrived in Pattaya last night and was thinking of heading out to a gym this morning.

 

A quick google on Tony's gyms and it appaears that casual visits aare now 220 bt at all locations, which isn't expensive compared to home, but for Pattaya seems a bit steep.

 

Any alternatives?

Right now I'm using WOW, and have for my last three visits. Before that I used Tony's. I definitely prefer WOW. I think WOW does offer lifetime memberships at a much better rate than Tony's.

Cheers, that was helpful. I'm not that keen I'd go everyday but about 3 times a week would suit me down to the ground, so this seems like the best deal for my needs.

 

3 visits in 5 days = 590bt X 4 = 2360 Bt a month

Tony has a bare bones non-aircon gym on soi Bukhow for 69B a visit.

 

His Naklua gym - for 69B a visit - has better equiptment, is bigger, but is non-aircon.

 

Both have weekly/monthly deals, but I do not know the price.

I,ve tried most of the gyms in pattaya, but for me tonys on the 3rd road was the best, but it depends as to were you are staying, i do know of a gym that is free """, its up the hill towards the big budda, its outdoor & were the thais train, its worth a look at , & will make you realise how lucky you are """""

Yeah Tony's on 3rd road seems to be the best. I'll be going in there soon, maybe tomorrow.

I go to Universe Gym on Sukhumvit across from Siam Country Club. All equipment in top condition, few people and cheap prices, 800 baht a month....

Universe gym across siam country club (sukhumvit) is great, me and my friend workout there and pay 600 each per month and u get a towel every time, great all around;D greatly rekomended

i have used both cal wow and tonys, now 3 year into a lifetime membership with cal wow

good well equipped gym, good aircon, crap loud music and no sauna, steam or swimming facilities which i miss after a good workout. If i was to go back a few years i would have spent a little more and got a lifetime membership with tonys
