Hi,

 

I stayed in a hotel in Walking Street which i believe is called Beach Inn, this is quite hard to find as it is above a bar called the Country Bar. The hotel was only 500 bhat a night for a double standard room.

 

Good Points

 

1. In the heart of Walking Street

2. Cheap and Cheerful

3. Friendly Staff

4. Good Size Room

5. Good Aircon

6. Fairly modern furnishing and fittings

 

Bad Points

 

1. No Safe box in room

2. Very noisy till 8am (But you are above a Bar!)

3. Staff hold your passport (which i dont like one bit)

4. Aircon card is on your key but they didnt mind you taking this off

 

Overall apart from a few losers in the hotel causing problems for the staff, I had a good stay here and would recommend this to anyone who wants cheap and cheerful. Although i would state you need to get wasted so the noise does not affect you

Hold your passport? Losers stay there? Noise until 8AM? And you're recommending it? If I were a landlord, I would certainly want you as a tenant.
