well since ill be in pattaya when the world cup is on , we need a topic

 

its goona be fun, most games kicking off early afternoon in pattaya,. will soi 6 be the place to watch the action?

ireland playing the aussies on 17th of september at 2.30pm.. where will the aussies be watching it so i can take the piss out them when we win by a point!!!!

as always new zealand will be favourites,whether they get stage fright again we will see.aussies won well last wk and starting to get things going after a good super 14s. Then england they wont be far away they always do well.

As being a irish fan myself,i was talking to a neighbour that will be in the squad.He says things are going well in the preparation and as it will be the last worldcup for alot off the team.They are hyped for it.IMO tho they dont have the fire power,but u never know they might get the rub off the green.

Yes soi six would be the place to watch it for the early games.Later games i would head to SOI LK .

When do ya arrive in patts? I get there the 1st Sept for 9 nights before heading down to NZ for the big event!

Itd be great to meet ya for a pint or two down the six!

As much as my heart says the red dragon will breathe fire down in NZ. The head says that it is hard to look beyond the All Blacks on home turf.

france have been threatening to achieve greatness for a long time now, don`t go on the six nations, if you look at the quality and depth of the squad they could conceivably have, they could easily win it, especially if they gel.

Cant wait to watch rugby but it wont be in Pattaya or New Zealand for me, damn , damn :Hair_Out1:, Instead i will be in Shitty town of Ireland , WATERFORD to watch the TV....... I would love to see Ireland win the World Cup before I die, This Year , i will be going for England to win it with Aussie be my second choice... New Zealand is a great rub]gby traditions with full of skills but i dont fancy them to win the cup this time, Like Arsenal, you cant win the cup with beautiful football/Rugby....

I'm stopping of for two nights on the way home alright on the 10th Oct so i'll just miss you by a few days again.

Don't know if i'll get back down to patts though as i'm travelling home with a mate.

Go the might wallabies - coooper and genia will run the show just like they did in the Super 15. All Blacks will choke again, Boks will need someone to help them out of their wheelchairs they are that old, Johnnie, Johnnie Wilkinson will fall over just like the one dimensional English while the French will probably sack their coach, fight with each other in a scene from South Africa 2010. So that just leaves the mighty pumas from Argentina to play Australian in the final. Go you good things.

I'll be in Pattaya for the first week of the tournament and I'm looking for somewhere with a big screen to watch the games.

 

I know a couple of sports bars in BKK but is there any in Pattaya that people know of?

So that just leaves the mighty pumas from Argentina to play Australian in the final. Go you good things.

 

Is that the same mighty Pumas who got stuffed today by Wales?

The draw is in and it looks like NZ has the easy round. Maybe france can make a go of it but I doubt that we will see an upset here

 

 

England might struggle against Argentina but that is their only drama.

 

Ireland has put up a good showing against Australia in the past but I can't see them repeating this in a world cup. One to watch though.

 

You might think South Africa has the run in pool D but Wales is playing well and I never discount the Fijians or the Samoans. This would be the best games to watch and I think they will throw the ball around from the start.

Ireland lost the last four matches (Scotland, France 2 , England) this month in preparation for the Rugby World Cup In New Zealand next month... They were ranked the top five in The world.. Not a hope for the Irish in the World Cup and even in the Quarter final... England looked well prepared for it as well as Wales and France to match New Zealand, Australia and South Africa for the challenge to win the World Cup in October.

25 to 20 and the Wallabies win. The impressive thing is that both teams looked sharp and we may well have seen a preview of the world cup final. All blacks would be harder to beat at home though
