GF rooms on Ko Samui….1st time going

Heading to Samui late February for my 1st time and was wondering of any recommendations for GF rooms. Prefer to pay no more than 2000 bht per night, have wifi, at least Queen size bed, ac, clean. Saw something about The Island Resort in Chaweng on another board and did not mention GF, I assume since it was posted on Phuket-info that it would be. Also wondering input on pros and cons of Lamai vs Chaweng.
