fast track services

Has anyone used the fast track services at bkk to speed themselves through immigration,

land at bkk at 18:30 and my onwards flight upto chiang mai leaves at 20:50 and obviously being stuck at immigration for an hour would mean me sprinting through swampy to get to a check in desk

and for a laugh on my return i land at bkk at 18:35 and my flight back the uk departs at 20:05

so an uber fast track service will be required :D

Have only used the fast track they'll give you on business, but seen some guy who looked pretty distressed and very late talking their way thru the fast track leaving LOS

From what I understand, you still have to wait for your luggage. I can't remember a time when my luggage was already there when I got through immigration.

Also, check what other flights arrive at roughly the same time as yours. If there are a few Long Haul flights at the same time it might be busy. When I arrived at 19:00 last time I didn't have to queue at all. But when I arrive at 16:00 there are 3 LHR - BKK (747's and a 777) so it is busy then.

If you smoke, don't stop for a smoke before immigration, walk fast, get a seat near the front of the plane, you should be fine.

Yes, I've used it inbound, and outbound.

I travel with a carry on so I don't need to wait for bags. I've heard many times from guys who have cleared immigration well before the bags turned up.

It is what they advertise, It's pricey, but if you think your time is short you may want to consider it. You should probably upgrade to the electric cart.

yer immigration has been a hit and miss, first time i landed at around 18:00 the lines were clear and last time at 06:00 it took an hour to get through, i tend to avoid leaving things down to chance.

if things get close i can always abandon the luggage

to those that used the services what website did you guys do it through ?

Do not take the first 2 signs that say immigration. Keep walking and take the third or fourth as all the ques are on the first two. I landed at 18.05 and was straight through and in a taxi heading to patts by 18.25.

Used fasttrack as well, good service they had someone waiting for me outside the plane and escorted me through the fast track immigration channel picked up my luggage (arrived in about 5 minutes of getting to the baggage collection area) and then waited with me for 45minutes for taxi booked elsewhere to turn up, phoning them regularly to try to get an arrival time. On return same gentleman met me next to the check in gate and escorted me through security and to the booked lounge.

Good service both ways and no complaints, am using them again in November.

I did once but that was because the line up at the main immigration was so backed up they were redirecting us. Got thru in record time but still had to wait for luggage. Still think we were way ahead when I looked back at line up. :P :P :P

If you knew there were going to be back ups it would work ok. Carry on would help speed you thru.

Are you getting a visa exemption like the majority of people or a Visa on Arrival which is not the same thing?

How does someone upgrade to the electric cart?

I have always used fast-track at SBV - If you happen to have 3 jumbo loads in from anywhere at about the same time, expect immigration to be log-jammed and slow, eg at 9am-12noon. You may be able to do a transfer at SBV for a Chiang Mai flight? I also only take carry-on these days which has saved buckets of time. I am usually in Mr T's cab within 15 minutes of getting off the plane using carry-on plus fast-track. A forward seat on the plane over also saves a little bit of time.

It's just an upgraded service. More money honey. After 30 hrs on airplanes I'm ready to do some walking, but if you're short on time the cart will get you there faster.

This map isn't very clear. Typically you will be coming down from the right. On your left you will first pass the fast track area, then the first immigration queue, (90% of people stop here) Just keep going you will encounter a 2nd immigration queue further along.

yes of course central Florida Distribution Services provide best and fast transportation services as it guarantees next day delivery and will be in instantaneous communication with their private fleet of drivers.
