I will go there one day & take a good look around but with all the reports & guys girls posted it does not scream Pussy Holiday.

:001_Thank_You5:

It not a 'pussy holiday', though that's available. Beautiful country though and even the touristy areas aren't too busy.

Action is pretty much limited to the capital and for daytime action best to gather mamasan numbers and girls names at night. Girls are usually very shy at being see in public with a foreigner (much less so if you look Asian though).

In Yangon at the moment. Nothing like Thailand. Very few falangs and during the day local girls barely look at you. At night Emporer (Empire) is definitely the place to be. Picked up a little 18yr old stunner last night for 30,000kyat (approx) 40USD.

I'm staying at thf Parkroyal. Nice hotel. Nightclub downstairs (Music Club) is pretty average. Girls have real attitudes and wanted $100USD for long time.

Zero Zone is also good place to start the night. Nice food on rooftop overlooking city.

fashion show girls are the most beautiful , problems are that they are moveing all the time for another place for another show , then , they barely speak english , the only thing you can do is ask a phone number or give your local phone number if you have one , she may cometo your hotel later if you are lucky . Actually those fashion show ends quite early , 23h00 or 00h00 , after that the girls can be available .

another problem : the girls move and stay togheter , under supervision of a "mamasan" , manager , they also sleep in the same place after work , not easy for a girl to sneak out after work ,

at least they are not that cheap , i heard 100 $ up ...... The only way (maybe) is to rent a VIP room in the disco and ask for the girl you like to come in , i have never been inside , i only saw rich chinese business men going there and they are accompagned buy a local guy that could help and translate . what happens in those rooms ? i couldn 't say .

Gi Gi's is another decent option. Lots of girls with mainly Chinese clientel. Quite a range of talent. On last trip I barfined a dark skinned Indian looking chick. Spoke very little English. $60USD for long time.

You should only be paying 30 000 kyat for a JJs girl (and maybe a couple of thosand for taxi in morning) - and there is no 'bar fine'.

Thanks for the good work ! I'm thinking of going back now that the Junta is opening up a bit. Elections soon. Since my only trip 8 years ago, I decided I wasn't going to give those cocksucking generals any more of my $$. Got some serious stunners back then though. Going to check out Inle Lake, Bagan, and Mandalay this time.

Yangon is on my list of places to go but I read another website that said there was a lot more freelancers so I am confused now.

Thanks for the trip report, I enjoyed reading it.

On way back to airport there is a park overlooking a lake. taxi driver indicated was a big freelancer day time hangout. At night I'd be surprised. Action appears to be limited to a small number of clubs. If you didn't know what was going on (or follow this forum) you would think the place is dead. Burma / Yangon is still a pretty backward place. Short trip only IMHO.

All I know is that it's fucking expensive now. Mandalay, Bagan, Ngapali, everywhere. Looking at hotel prices has kept me away. There just aren't anywhere near enough hotel rooms to service all the N Asian businessmen feeding at the trough. Trader's hotel used to be $80. Now you can add $200 - 300 to that.

$300+ a night?

Traders one of the better hotels now 10,000 baht a night.

I stayed at Asian Plaza, good location think rated 3 star but i would have rated 1 or 2 star, needed refurb

This was $35 a couple of years ago now 7000 plus baht a night about $135.

Now there is a room shortage due to increase business travellers. Supply and demand factor. On my visit there were only 5 or 6 westerners on the plane out of about 130 and you never run in to many on the streets or bars

Think there is budget accomodation for 1000-2000 baht a night
