Anyone know if a Wii from the UK will work on Thai Tv, is there any compatible differences

14,000 baht is that not expensive, not sure what exchange rate is but isnt that near £280, can get one in UK for £120.00

I've just finished playing Mario Cart with the GF on mine.

 

You may have a problem with very old CRTs due to them using longer composite connectors, but newer CRTs & LCDs are OK. SCART is unheard of over here BTW so it's composite or if you're lucky component.

 

Just don't forget your 2 pin adapter.

Wii's in Thailand are very expensive, due to the import tax,

its difficult to buy original games- due to tax also,

 

We bought a Extension Lead Individually Switched 5 Way, which are all 3 points,(Wii plug compliant)

and plugs into a thai socket,are available from (Big C, Makro or Tesco)which is better - than a travel plug.
