Does anyone know how long the new airport, too damn long, should have a shortened name for it, has been up and running from the old Don Muang?

I'm not sure if there is truth to this, but I was flipping through airport info....actually which airports are best for sleeping in, And they where saying that the new airport is already falling apart. The cracks in the Runway due to poor construction are becoming so serious that they were thinking about reopening the old airport.

They re-opened the old airport some time ago to aid in Runway repair. This was an issue in March when I was there.

 

This doesn't seem like recent news. Or has it gotten worse?

Yes, it has been a year already.

Don Muang is still open for some domestic flights.
