not been to china garden but every thing i heard was good i usually stay oprey which is 1 minute walk from soi buakhau

the guy that sells the wrapped kebab things beside the market near R con ressidence

always gives a good deal, and they are so fucking tasty ....mmmmmm aroi maaak..

 

oops..never noticed it was hotel n accom...

 

ive only stayed at R con ressidence..

is ok

cheap,large room..

I think that photo was taken from Soi Diana. If you are talking about the main street separating Soi Diana and Soi Lengki, it should be called "Soi Buakhao". Sometimes, it is written as "Soi Buakhaw" or "Soi Buakhau" or "Soi Buakhow". You can get a standard room from the guesthouses at Soi Buakhao for about 350 Baht. But, it will cost you around 450 Baht at Soi Lengki for a standard room. China Garden Hotel is certainly good if you don't mind paying a little bit more (as I believe it is about 600 Baht). But their rooms are so much better than the rooms from guesthouses or even from hotels around that hotel. I should have booked one of the rooms with Jacuzzi when it's just opened. Now, I think it's too late for me to book one because rooms with Jacuzzi have been fully booked for the coming few months.

The best value for money must be sitting on the seats at the corner of soi Lengkee and soi Boukhouw and watching the road carnage.....
