ASIAN TOUR 2011: hotels REVIEW

Pattaya - Eastiny Seven / Soi 7:

When I was looking for hotels for my new adventure, I looked around the area of Soi Buakhao, where prices ranged between 600 and 900 baht/night without breakfast. I finally sent an e-mail to the people of Eastiny Seven and they left me at 900 with breakfast, so for this and for the easy access to the baht bus I decided to stay here. I looked hotels like this in the area of the Soi's, Beach Road and Second Road, but I could see nothing that offer a similar price/services. I must say that when I returned from AC stayed here again and they left me at 850 baht / night.

The rooms that I recommend and where I stayed, are 302 and 406. All right, right size, right bath, a small terrace. The corner rooms are a little shit, and seems in the pool view rooms, you will hear all the noise of the bars in front.

What can I say about the breakfast?. Well, this fucking great, very good. Fruit, juice, pasta, potatoes, sausage, muffins, coffee, cereals, toast, etc. .. It's buffet. Besides there's a guy prepare you the eggs at the style you want, with or without bacon.

The pool is not bad. It's not big, but enough to make you a pair of long and sunbathing. If you need towels, phone call there at the front counter.

No joiner fee, but apparently you pay 300baht if you want to come up with 2 or more girls at once.

Koh Chang Kacha Resort & Spa / Koh Chang / White Sand Beach:

Best located possible. You could eat on the beach, because the restaurant had a few tables away, a great luxury. Also in front of you everything you need (laundries, restaurants, travel agencies, money exchange, motorcycle rental, pharmacies ...)

The great room, spacious, huge bed, terrace with great views and very good and big bathroom with bathtub. They gave us 2 beds by mistake, but resolved quickly.

It had two pools, but we didn't try any, xD.

Amazing breakfast buffet. 10 times greater than Eastiny Seven. Simply huge and great.

If I remember correctly, it cost me about 1800 baht for two, breakfast included.

Phuket - Ferb Guest House / Patong / Nanai Rd.:

Located 5 minutes walking from Bangla Rd., in a quiet place and everything you need nearby (for cash, travel agencies, restaurants, laundries ...).

The room quite spacious with a terrace and a big bed. The bathroom is small.

It cost me 650 baht without breakfast.

No joiner fee.

Angeles City - Pacific Breeze / Vian St.:

Ideally located 2 or 3 minutes walking to Fields Ave. Nicely decorated with a fountain on the way to the restaurant, that is conveniently located next to the pool. There are all just around the corner (laundries, restaurants, travel agencies, money exchange, pharmacy ...). Although I do not recommend the laundry out front, if you have to wash clothes, use the "Sunshine laundrie" next to the America hotel.

The pool is quite large and a there is small waterfall where the girls play. Perfect to eat there with your "girlfriend".

The rooms were nice. spacious, big bed, normal bathroom. I was in 3 types of rooms. The Executive Plus differs from the Executive just because having bathtub. And Premiere Jacuzzi is much larger and has a terrace and jacuzzi, of course.

The Executive cost me $57, the Executive Plus $60 and $75 the Premiere Jacuzzi. No breakfast.

No joiner fee.

Busuanga - Kokosnuss Garden Resort:

Located in the middle of nowhere, there are only 2 or 3 shops nearby, everything else should take a trike or if you have time, walk down.

The rooms were not bad but I expected something bigger. Very small bathroom as well. No fridge. Good thing there were only sleeping, for the rest of the day we were on the tours.

The Cottage Room Double cost 1500 pesos.
