Becareful when hiring in Pattaya best to book from home and pick up from airport you know where you stand then with excess and damage wiever. some dubious car hire places in pattaya and have scams for damage you never did. or worst not having the correct insurance.

BKK police are cracking down on drink driving too so it want be long before the pattaya mob start.

best get an international licence too from home for when you fet stopped
