Funny enough i stayed at April Suites for 2 days then moved to pbr for the remainder 16 days,,why did i move,,location mainly ,breaky at pbr when i got up for it

the gym is small at april, pbr gym aint that good they ve had that same dumbells for years now,but the machine has its purpose if ye mess around with it.

April Suites room slightly better not roomier tho,but i like to just walk out hotel and have banks bars food [soibuckhou] near, thus why i chose pbr.

I'm at April Suites Dec 1-Dec 15. How are they about bring guests in with me. How about 2 guests? I haven't seen any answers to this yet.

Thanks for this handy link. It has been very helpful as this is my first trip to play-land.

no problem with one guest, girls tend to like april, cos of the friendly staff. They usually take their id card and write down their name in a book, but for my long time girl, they did not. I think you have to pay a joiner fee for the second girl, though I had my girl's friend and my girl visit me in my room several time without they saying anything...no overnight sleep though.

What do you mean by no overnight sleep? The girls didn't spend the night, or it isn't allowed?

Serpentine

I'm planning to stay at April Suites. I don't plan on renting a scooter.

Can you tell me how many mins walk it is from April Suites to;

Walking Street

Soi 6

LK Metro

I don't mind walking but will get the baht bus if places are too far.

I've checked out their website and it says rooms are non smoking, do the windows open

or are their balconies for these rooms.

Thanks for your time

Personally speaking Soi 6 is the only one in your list that I would walk to, but even so the baht busses run right past the end of the soi so if it was hot I would take one of those for the sake of 10 baht.

Walking Street and Soi Diana are too far to walk if it is hot also... as 2nd road is a one way street going in the opposite direction you would be better off making use of the motorbike taxis at the end of the soi.

The rooms have balconies... but why not try to give up? :D

I have never been to thailand, but plan on going next month, and when I check out the prices at April and PBR, I see that PBR is a little cheaper and a much better location which is a very big plus, especially for a newby like me. For 3 weeks in October April is 1062bt and PBR is 856 bt because you pay for 6 nites at 999bt and stay for 7 nites so PBR is 205bt cheaper per nite in October and 113 bt cheaper in November. I would like to have the 4305 bt that I will save on my 3 weeks at PBR. Am I missing something?

Thanks for your reply, April sounds perfect as I like to stay a little bit away from all the action

and go to it when I am ready. Walking out your hotel and having it straight in your face can be great

but somtimes abit annoying.

As with the smoking...I'm trying lol, down to 4 or 5 a day now, so I'm getting there!

Thanks

Taxes?

Where did you get the rate of 1062 Baht for April Suites?

Agoda have a rate of 1062 Baht per night, but this does not include service charges or taxes adding another 188 Baht to give a total of 1250 Baht.

Did you get the rate of 1062 Baht from the hotel itself?

Are baht busses, or some form of transportation available throughout the night? If one needs to return to April Suites around 2 in the morning, what are the options?

Yes, if you are in Walking Street go to the 2 nd road/south pattaya road intersection. You'll find bahtbuses there. Jump of after central pattaya road. No pompem!

2 days ago I walked into April Suites and looked at there rooms. Very nice and new. I did not like the bathroom set-up too much. For me the only reason I would not stay there is the walk. Coming back from Walking Street by bus is ok, but you have to walk over to I think it's central or Soi 6 1/2 and down to beach rd. For the young it's ok but old farts like me Nah
