When i come pattya chrismas i want to go to island maybe by puket somewhere i hear that there are trains around thailand which have beds in and travel for hours but do there trains take you from pattaya to puket?

 

IF so where do i get train from and how much money would it cost me

Trains do not run to Phuket. They go as far as Surat Thani. From here its a bus to Phuket. Onother 6 hours. Cost around 300baht

Overnight sleeper train from Bangkok Hualamphong train station to Surat Thani takes 12 hours. Cost around 650baht.

Bus from Bangkoks southern bus terminal (Sai Tai Mai) takes 13-14 hours. Around 750baht.

If you take a bus i would recommend a VIP bus. Reclining seats. Cost around a 1,000baht.

Take a bus/cab to Bangkok and from there fly to Phuket.... waaay easier mate

The trains run on petrol and are slow as hell!
