i always stay at the ibis.. they only have wifi in the lobby but if you get the password from the dawin next door, you will pick it up in your room if you are in the front.

TH: I've stayed at a couple dozen between Thonglor and Ploenchit. 1500-2500B is in my wheelhouse usually. Let me know what (amenities), where, and how much $$. I'm looking for myself in Dec. I'll let you know what the best deals are IMO. Big room ? Little room OK ? Wifi ? Pool ? Gym ? Breakfast important ? Long walk to Suk & BTS OK ? One thing I have noticed is that some of the Compass properties, (like Citrus 13 & Admiral Premier) are way cheaper direct (<1500B/nite). Great deals those 2. If you want close to P4P and a decent hotel at a good price the dynasty in Nana is good. Be careful though as there is a Dynasty in Bangkapi where most of the clientel is chinese/ korean.

A hotel centrally located is the bayoke which is OK with great buffet buffet breakfast, only downside is catching taxis during rush hour is a nightmare.

Nice hotel a short 100baht taxi drive from the action is the amari atrium which I use more than the others.

If you want to push the boat out the peninsula is the best hotel in asia, stayed there for a week and definitely top drawer. Mucho money though.

I have stayed at the Pachara Suites after Slapman posted it here on PA's.

Great rooms & spot on location.

It is more Apartments than hotel.

I had a great room for 2000 baht.

no sorry i lost all my pictures a few weeks back :P

i looked at this video on youtube before i booked that sold it to me

normally hotels advertise their rooms looking better and nicer than they actually are in pitures and vide but in dream things WERE actually perfect and spot on when i arrived was so impressed.

another thing that impressed me is the short distance to walk to the elevator and the short distance to get to my room. most bigger hotels you'r walking for friggin iles down corridors to get to your room
