Yes it sure looks like it, but of course they say he will playing no role in any of it & would never try to interfere with his little sisters new role - LoL.

She may win the Election but it will be only a matter of time before Army intervention, Thai elections are just a showcase for the rest of the world to show Thailand as a democracy. In reality, if the ruling Elite/Army don't like the elected government, they stage a coup.

 

I do hope Thailand can become a true democracy, but it's not likely in the foreseeable future.

I am remarkably ignorant about Thai politics as a whole. I'm not proud of that fact.

 

Is there somewhere I can do a bit of reading up, does anyone have links I can use to educate myself on this. I do have a rather hazy understanding of some of the events of recent years, but would like learn more.

Unofficial results Thailand election is opposition (political party sister from ex prime minister Thaksin Shinavatra) This political party can get from 190 to 250 seats in parliament.
