How to bring Thai girl back to USA for 1 month?

Is it possible to bring a Thai girl home with you (not married) for 1 month? What are the steps to take and costs involved?

Sorry this might be a bit complicated question but if someone can point me in the right direction I will do some research.

Is this the right forum to post this question in?

Do you mean you want to take your Thai GF for a holiday to the USA for one month?

If so I have been told that it's very difficult for Thai women to get tourist visas for the USA. So my suggestion is you go and have a talk with one of the many visa shops in Pattaya, those people know all the ropes and expenses involved and will answer all your questions.

lol jam no problems mate. I am just curious and not even close to taking a Thai girl home with me. I found some info online and it appears that it is (as pubstud said) to get them over here. you have to prove they wont stay and if theyre not educated or have a great job here then it is very difficult. it appears that the best way is to marry them, if the time comes for that.

personally i prefer to just spend 1 month in Patts instead of bringing her home with me. good to know the info just the same, knowledge is power as they say.

If she tells the embassy she's coming here to visit her boyfriend they'll reject it.

If they find she's worked in a bar, rumor has it they'll reject those too.

You can get a fiance visa for 90 days and you don't have to get married, just make sure she's out of the country before the visa expires. From everyone I've talked to, no harm done as long as she doesn't overstay. While at the embassy waiting for my other half's interview I spent a bit of time talking with the guy running a via agency (mythaifiance.com?) who said that he knew one guy who's had like 8 or 9 fiance visas for the same girl. She just goes back before it expires each time and the embassy's fine with that.

I have been told by a guy who is in the middle of the process that it is easier to get the fiance visa than it is to marry the girl and then ask for a visa.

ABSOLUTELY true. With a spouse visa, there are additional things that must be proved. You must prove that you're married and that the marriage is genuine. With a fiancee visa, all you really need to prove is that you've both met and can legally marry. Tourist visas to the USA for TGs that aren't high society are extremely hard to get. Working in a bar is not an automatic denial, my friend met his girl in a bar and brought her over to the states with no problem, they were 100% honest about how they'd met. The law states that they must deny anyone who has been involved in prostitution in the past ten years. They basically take the girl's word for it for the legal part, although I am sure they know damn well what's really going on. As long as the girl doesn't have any legal record of being a prostitute and is smart enough to check "No" when asked if she is a prostitute on the form, seems to be OK. Seems the embassies don't want to be bothered with checking up so they satisfy the law by just asking the girl flat out. They know she's a bargirl, but it all comes down to the paperwork, and as long as the paperwork is clean, not their problem.

Just a word of caution for anyone that thinks this might be an alternative to tourist Visa. Having an X chinese wife, and gone through the process, I suggest you read up on the International Marraige Brokers Regulation Act. One part clearly states:

"IMBRA limits a US petitioner’s sponsorship of K1 (fiancé(e)) visas to 2 total, with no less than 2 years between the filing of the last approved petition and the current petition. A petitioner may seek a discretionary waiver of these limits from DHS."

Maybe in the past this might have been an option, but not today; especially if you think you just may find the love of your life sometime and really want to bring her home.
