Good clinics for STD testing

I never did an STD test in Thailand, but need to do one.

My TG will be arriving 2 days later of my arrival, so I was hoping I can get a test done prior to meeting her.

 

In farang land Im stupid enough to always go bareback,

thinking I will never catch anything because I think the girls I go with are "clean" girls.

However, I want to know if I got something and cure if I have. -Before I look up some TGs.

 

 

I would be very pleased if anyone can recommend me a good place to go to test everything.

Please also with location, and how long it takes to get the answer.

I agree. I have taken 2 Tg's there and there are professional and in-and-out in about an hour.

how much do they charge for an std test ?

 

i was thinking about getting it done before before i go home on next trip instead of getting of the plane and straight into the clinic

 

then having to wait about 2 weeks for the results

There's a VD clinic almost on the corner of Pattaya Tai and 3rd road, next door to the very good vegetarian restaurant. They do a fast HIV test for 400Bt. I think a GC test is about the same price. They told me a Clamydia test is more expensive (think is was about 2000Bt) because they can't test it there and have to send off to the hospital labs. But you can get a fast HIV test there - about 5 minutes and 400 Bt - and thats the main one to get.

How can they complete a HIV test in 5 minutes? What type of test is this?

Just be aware that if you go to a hospital for an HIV test, then they are duty bound to report any positive tests to the authorities - not so good if they have your name and passport number.
