The Hopf Brauhaus on beach road. They brew their own wheat beer and lager. The problem with pizza in Thailand is that local cheese isn't very good.

Another place with wood burning oven, although I haven't tried it, is Pizza Pizza in the basement of CentralFestival mall. They also feature wine for 49 baht/glass, an extraordinary price for Thailand.

The place I eat at all the time (really 3-4 times per week), especially when my girl asks for pizza is Copacabana. It is on Soi 15 (where the Pattaya Bay Resort is) next to the new condo complex called the Urban. The owners and manager are all Italian and I have found the crust to be fantastic. I've eaten at the pizza place at the Avenue mall (often called "Major" here referring to the movie theatre) but was unimpressed. My girl is pushing for us to at least try the Pizza Hut at Royal Garden, but never was a fan in the US but I'll take one for the team as I'm sure she'll make it up to me.

i went to pizza big lastnight it was fantastic, so much so i ate 2 full pizzas myself! thin base just how i like it!

Pizza Big isn't bad, from my limited experience ( i've eaten it only once, delivered via Waiter-on-wheels)

Have to mention pizza in Hopf brewery restaurant,it was very good.. very thin and plenty of cheese.

I am an east coat guy that moved to Hawaii 16 years ago to open a pizza restaurant. I will make my first trip to Patts in Nov. and will hopefully find some good pizza. i thank you all for your suggestions as I now have some places to try without going crazy looking for them. I will post my opinion for sure now that I see there is an interest. Wheels up in 74 days, I can't wait...
