Lasers Can Fry Your Camera Sensor

I have just found that lasers can damage the sensors is high priced cameras (possibly cheap ones too). The two videos below are videos shot with Canon 5D Mark IIs. For anyone who doesn't know this is a high end camera. Apparently the damage is permanent.

I keep my 1D a long way from lasers for this very reason, was a bugger when I was shooting concerts
