Suggestion: With the new improvements maybe you can limit the size of a photo that someone can post. If they try to post a photo that's too big they get a error message stating "Resize Photo to max size of ____". Maybe even a link to how to resize the photo if possible.?

Good point & adding to that what about when you post pics the soft ware resizes them automatically ????

 

Call me a lazy mother fucker but we need to encourage members to post pics do we not.

This concept has been argued since day 1. If we do that some members might not bother posting out of laziness, lack of time or lack of skill to do it. I would rather large photos than none!

Most likely not. It could crash for a few minutes at a time.

Unfortunately, they were abused to the point that we were forced to remove them.

When viewing "New content" list, we can see Date and Time of the last answer. It would aslo be good to see under the OP name the initial date thread was created. Could be a better way not digging out old threads.

 

About the repoint, It is very usefull on the post itself. However, having a total of repoint doesn't means much imo.

Rep points was great for that & I liked the system.

 

The system was abused by some senior members but when they limited the amount you could award another member each day it was spot on.

 

I do believe this rep points system was moved from the forum as it was starting to show that certain Members were in fact well followed & rated very highly & so to speak the Admin & forces of power would not like the results it would have shown etc.

 

Yes next up I will answer the next question & that is of course some members have egos & all that & loved the feel good factor of being awarded points as a way of being appreciated for there hard work & time that goes with reports, threads & posts.

However, Pattaya-addict is an owned forum, and not a democratic forum.

I do beleive that democracy leads to nothing except a big dung where only the flys above will get fat.

 

I have seen many french forums got closed these days because of the lack of moderation and relying too much on the BM behaviour and acts (that always turns bad...)

So if everything is not perfect on PA, we can say that the ship navigates quite well amongst the storms.

I would be very sad if PA was sailed an other way that would lead it on the rocks.

I am a member of a number of forums (not just about Thailand) and I have to say that this one is ran better than any other I have seen.

There are many moderators and someone will always looking into any reports you send pretty much straight away.

They may not give feedback to you but something gets actioned.
