So I have been staying at KTK since may 15 and will have spent a total of 35 days here, so I am going to list the pro's and con's of using it as a base for mongering.

Pro's

Good size room

Good reception girls

One extremely sexy cleaning girl :)

50m from family mart

Quiet at night times (conditional)

5 min walk to beach road via Soi 6 so make that 4hrs to beach road

Cons

Noise during the day is horrible due to construction of ktk extendtion which seems to have been going to over a year now and to be honest I doubt it will be finished before the end of 2012.

The noise from the corridor is magnified

You will hear your next room neighbor banging his girl

No baht buses run on soi 12 so if you dont like motorbike taxis be prepared to walk

Sheets wont stay on the bed due to the mattress being plastic covered

Conclusion.

No I would not stay here again due to the noise if your fine to be awake at 8am its nots such a bad place to stay.

It sounded OK until to mentioned all the noise from the construction and the bloody plastic mattress protector!

Thanks for the honest review.

Am I the only one that does not mind the noises of the neighbor next door getting it on?

One night my girl woke me up in the middle of the night because she could hear the neighbors.

That ended up being a great session with her. :)

It doesnt bother me but does bother some girls. It may be ok after the new wing is completed but i wouldnt recommend anyone stay here till its finished.

thanks for your review.

I wonder how one expat friend could stay there for 6 months.

I hate noisy places.

Some people told me that streets around are very smelly and there are many dust also.

Hey guys,

i stayed in ktk from 16th march until 20th may, agree with this review, my room was massive and priced at 17k per month, 42" tv, dvd player excellent

shower etc but the sheets on the bed issue was very annoying and with the design of the headboard you could clearly hear your neighbours at it, didnt

bother me but i know it will some people, the pool is small but good, gym has good treadmills but all the weights etc are cheap rubbish, food in hotel

is very good with good room service also and very reasonably priced, which leads me to the noise issues, i was told work started at 10 and finished at

four! only to be awakened every day at 6.30am with work sometimes not ending until 7pm! noise amplified by the corridors, when the construction ends

i would however recomend ktk because i am yet to find a better room for the money!

I stayed there over xmas and liked the place but I am a heavy sleeper I sometimes had a bit of a kip during the day and used to have the patio doors open the construction noise wasn't enough to wake me up

A Thai girls arsehole is just like a 9 volt battery you know you shouldn't but sooner or later you will put your tounge in it
