What is the nicest hotel in pattaya for between 1500 and 2000 bath a night?

For 1700baht I had a really good room at the Baboona Beachfront Living hotel, on beach road between 3rd & 4th just last month..

http://www.baboonabeach.com/

I think I got the price via booking.com. Just check trip advisor for prices

I think August Suites (www.augustsuites.com) is a good deal in this range. The Internet rates they advertise start at 2000 THB (cf. http://www.augustsuites.com/rates.html). Depending on season they may offer a lower rate when inquiring through an email (cf. http://www.pattaya-addicts.com/forum/topic/77918-aprilaugust-suites-prices/page__view__findpost__p__1222033). So that should match your budget.

are both of these places girl friendly

August Suites is girl friendly. No joiner fee (for up to 1 girl). She needs to leave ID card at reception. Never had a problem bringing a girl.

1500B to 2000B should get you a good resort style hotel with a pool. Just keep in mind there is no perfect hotel. We all make allowances for things we don't like to to get the things we want. My personal favorite hotel is the Sandy Spring hotel. I like the location, and the large room with the big sea view balcony. I overlook the old dated rooms/bathrooms, no free wifi , no room safe.

If it's your first trip you probably aren't sure what you like and don't like in a hotel or guesthouse. If I were you I would split my time between two different places. for half your trip rent a guesthouse room like Billabong or Secrets. Guesthouse rooms are usually simple but they are great for interacting with the other guests and usually have a friendly staff. For the other half of your trip rent a nice hotel room like the Page10 which you mentioned in another post.

P.S. The Sandy Spring is under going a room renovation construction project now so I wouldn't stay there at this time.

Good price range for a go-go girl, not too sure for a place of accommodation...

My Pattaya budget is perfectly adequate as long as I don't spend any of it

Page 10 Hotel, Soi 10

www.page10hotel.com

AGREED , Stayed at Page 10 early may, The hotel is new with friendly staff and very very clean and modern

No Joiner fee & very friendly to tha girls when they come and leave

Nice lap pool and outside bar area on the top floor andvery reasonably priced

I have found that i was able to get a better price direct from their own website rather than agoda/asia rooms

Breakfast was pretty good aswell. Location is also very good 15 minutes walk to walking st and 1o minutes walk to main shopping center

No hesitation in reccomending this hotel

December 17 2011 ....... The day Pattaya will be invaded by THE_GUN

Bad advice in my experience,

Nice hotel yes, but terrible service when I wanted to check in early, pouring down with rain.. wanted to charge me full room rate, finally got me room, went in, stunk of sex, bed sheets on floor, shit all over place, scarred my mind for rest of stay in same room,

Any room at Fraser for that price will also be back facing, not city plaza facing, now view, maybe a 6ft gap to horrible building next door

Can't reccomend

I've been there on sept 09 and the room was bloody nice. There was only one problem with the shower watering out on the floor.

Never been there since, but I've read couple of good reports.

The early check-in and late checkout are always a problem in hotels...

However, your advice will help me stick to Baywalk hotel when I want to stay in "near WS" area. forget about fraser...

Spent a few night at Fraser Resort last year. I booked the room through Agoda and as you say, the cheaper rooms have a terrible view but the rooms and the hotel themselves are OK for the price and location.

Another gripe is that Pattaya City Walk becomes a pedestrian area from 5 PM, which means you can't use your bike and have to push it. That was annoying.
