One longtime girl i saw for a few trips met me at bkk airport a few years ago and i treated her to her first ever plane ride down to Phuket for a week...i asked the usual you no have Liquid or perfume in bag ? no tirak..No Ya Ba? I did see the like , While on beach road 2 Russian men where where talking to a girl and the girl lost interest and the men started to swear in Russian the girl seem to understand what they said so turn to a group of girls and a man near by who all got up and walked towards the two Russian who quickly ran off.

The UK with the influx of immigrants, originally being brought up in countries that don't have the same respect from life as we have, causing an increase in serious assualt, knife crime, and murders. Not 100% their fault, as where they come from they have to do anything to survive, unfortunately the mentality they have brought to Britian.

 

Eastern european, arabic, muslims, African etc..........they all have been brought up in tough times, civil wars, extreme poverty etc.

 

Don't get me wrong, i am not against immigrants or people seeking asylum, they just have to change their morals and shed the practice of extreme violence when coming to a new country and abide by their laws.

She was a very sweet girl, not tattoos, no drugs and she leaves a 1 1/2 year old baby behind with her parents to take care of him. After lots of calls to people today I did confirm that Oh was transferred to Chon Buri hospital after a co-worker from Fahrenheit, gogo girl #22, stabbed her. She died 2 hours later.

 

Needless to say, I have definitely become jaded about the happenings in Pattaya.

Don't get too jaded -- to bring it home to your neck of the woods (based on your ID), I grew up in Texas and went to school in Austin area. A good friend was murdered outside a club shortly after we graduated. SUPER guy -- friendliest guy you could ever hope to meet, but another friend of ours was in a scuffle and he was trying to break it up. Ended up getting stabbed and killed on the spot. A few years earlier, my older brother and some friends were jumped and stabbed in Austin, too, for no apparent reason.

 

I should clarify: none of these incidents were in "dangerous" parts of the city -- me, my brother and my friends are about as far from that as you're going to see.

 

My point is, this shit happens everywhere. Alcohol can lead people to do horrible things that they would never do while sober. I feel for you for your loss, but, more than that, I feel for this poor girl's child and family. Finally, although I am "an-eye-for-an-eye" kind of guy, I feel for the girl who committed this heinous act. It does not sound premeditated, in any way, but a stupid thing that she did while probably pretty drunk and likely immediately regretted.

Thank you for taking the time to find out. This is the worst possible outcome and I feel for the families involved..

 

When I was in Pattaya for Loy Krathong a few years ago, one of the girls from a bar that I used killed herself by walking into the ocean...All because a Farang broke her heart. ... We maybe playing when we are there but for the girls it is a very serious business. Perhaps we all need to realise this when we deal with the girls and talk about them.

Thai bargirls can get very jealous and protect their turf/ earnings with devastating effect. I'm sure Mrs T can handle herself but this sort of thing hardly inspires confidence.

Unfortunately Mrs T is as small and petite as these Thai girls, so god forbid she would have to try to defend herself against something like this. As you might suspect, I was a little drunk when making my first post in this thread. I had refrained all day because I was trying to get the facts. Although there was interest in potentially sponsoring her in the future, in reality I had only spent 4 days with her in person and spoke with her quite a bit over the phone the past 2 months. I was by no means in love with her and I believe she was smart enough to know not to mention love considering how little time we had spent together so far. I liked her a lot though. I can only give you the facts based upon my time spent with her in Pattaya, talking on the phone with her once I got back, and the info given me from her friends. I also don't claim to be the love of her life thinking that was the only guy she may have been working on getting sponsorship from. I am sure there are multiple BMs/customers that Oh had that could give their own opinions/comments, but I just wanted to write a final post based upon what I knew about her and the admittedly short time I spent with her.

 

I went to Fahrenheit on the third to last night of my trip with another BM. While sitting there I suddenly felt someone plop next to me so I looked to my left and there was a very cute gogo dancer and a friendly and cute service girl suddenly there where 2 seconds before there was no one. I later found out that the service girl had encouraged Oh (the gogo girl) to take a chance on sitting next to me. I immediately liked her because of her beaming smile and friendly attitude. To be perfectly honest, I'd have to go back to my TR report to see what we did over the next three days, but I can tell you it was a situation where she probably appreciated the fact that I wasn't trying to bang her every two hours and I was perfectly happy entertaining her or letting her sleep. I had searched the past two weeks I was in Pattaya for someone that seemed to have a genuine personality and this was the first girl I had met like this. Unfortunately this was the last three days of my trip and I was disappointed I hadn’t found her earlier. The day I left for the races in Malaysia there were no crocodile tears, no "I love you" which in my mind was great that she wasn’t trying to put on some fake show like many of the other girls do. She simply got on her mototaxi and said "Thank you tilak".

 

 

 

 

After about 2 days in Malaysia for the 3 day race weekend I called Oh asking if she wanted to come up to the Bangkok airport. I was flying up to Bangkok the night after the race and had 24 hours in the Novatel airport hotel before I flew out the next day. At this point I should tell you that I paid Oh 2500B each LT session and I had always given her a 200B tip. So basically 2700B per day that I had spent with her. Without hesitation she agreed to take a taxi on her own money to meet me at the Novatel hotel at the Bangkok airport when I arrived that night. For all she knew, she was spending 1000B to take the taxi up to Bangkok to meet a customer she had only been with 3 days and for all she knew, I'd pay her the same 2700B for the LT. If I hadn’t shown up, she would have been out the taxi fare to Bangkok and back. Her taxi arrived about 5 minutes after I got to the hotel.

 

For the next 24 hours we ordered room service, slept, and at the last minute we met up with her sister and sister’s boyfriend at a restaurant in Bangkok. As before in Pattaya, the time came for me to leave. She was left at the hotel waiting for Mr T's taxi while I caught the shuttle to the terminal for my flight home. I had given her reimbursement for the taxi and the gogo BFs for the two nights, plus, what I considered a generous bonus for the past 24 hours. As before, no crocodile tears, no "I love you". Simply the understanding that I had a wife, my wife knew about Oh and if things worked out, I would visit her in a couple of months and then I'd talk to her about possible sponsorship and her going back to village. (Yeah, I know the score on this)

 

 

From early April through the beginning of May Oh would call every day. Her little trick was to call my cell phone, let it ring a couple of times and then hang up. She knew I had Skype so she knew I'd call back after a couple of minutes. Eventually we came to the understanding that it was better for her to do this while she was going home in the morning rather than just before she went to work....which was about 5 or 6am my time! Uggghh

 

The problem I did have with Oh was like the others girls, she quickly started asking for money. This sort of put a sour note on any connection I tried to have with her. She knew I had the means to sponsor her, but my constant mantra to her was that until I got to know her better, I didn't plan to send money and therefore she was free to do what she wanted. This didn’t stop her from asking though. Being a gogo/bargirl it did become a little funny though that she would constantly say that she got BF that night, but the customer didn't want sex. Even though she knew I could care a less, it seems like she still felt she needed to lie.

 

On May 25th – May 28th I had been trying to get hold of her because she had indicated she would call me, but never did. On the 28th, I got to a point where it seemed like she was starting to go her own way. Because I couldn’t get hold of her on the phone, I sent her a text message telling her that it was becoming too much of a hassle so she should not call or text me anymore. Ironically, after not being able to get hold of her for several days in a row, she quickly answered my text message with a simple message…“Sorry Tilak”. To this day I don’t know if that meant that she was sorry she knew I was mad at her or sorry that she didn’t have the guts to tell me she was moving on and wanted to tell me, but didn’t.

 

Sadly, for the past couple of weeks, I joked with some of the BMs and even some people at my local Thai restaurant about the fact that she would probably be calling in July in the middle of slow season when she was hurting for money or closer to when my wife and I arrived in September. Little did I know that she had been murdered less than a week after our last communication.

 

Fast forward to a couple of days ago...I was scrolling through the threads on the board and saw the story about the bargirl getting killed. I read the two different versions of the stories in this thread and I immediately became concerned. The name and age of the victim matched Oh. Plus the story mentioned the people being at Hollywood Disco which is where she liked to go. The only thing that gave me hope was that the stories indicated they were bar girls, not gogo girls. After some back and forth with some BMs all day Monday via private chat and by telephone, I finally got hold of one of Oh’s best friends that we had gone out with 2 of the 3 nights Oh and I went out. She was also Oh’s confidant/mentor and as you would expect, told her everything we spoke about and had her translate text messages since Oh spoke English fairly well but couldn’t read English.

Up until the time I spoke with her friend I was under the assumption and holding out hope that she had gone back home and was recovering based upon information I had gotten up to that point. At the time, I was just trying to get hold of someone that could get me in contact with her since Oh’s phone was off. Needless to say I was devastated when her friend realized who was calling and immediately started crying saying, “Mike, Oh is dead. My best friend dead”

 

Over the next hour or so her friend filled me in on a lot of information. Obviously the first information was about the murder and her understanding of what happened. The rest was about me and Oh. To be honest, I don’t know how much of what she said about Oh and myself was true. I can imagine that she may have been still trying to protect my view of Oh in some of the things she told me, but I’d like to think that what she told me was true. If it was all true though, it does make it harder for me.

 

As far as the murder, she didn’t really find out what had happened until a day later, I don’t know how accurate the information she had is. She just indicated that Oh sometimes got quite drunk, something I had never witnessed, and that she believes both Oh and the other girl were very drunk that night. As far as the events of why the other girl stabbed Oh, we can only go by what she told police, but who knows. I wish the Japanese or Korean customer would man up and give someone some info. Unfortunately, I doubt he would know what they girls were fighting about since I would assume they would have been speaking in Thai.

 

The thing I don’t completely understand is why they transferred her from Pattaya to Chonburi hospital. I would hate to think they did this because of her inability to pay up front and this caused a delay in treatment. Also, from the video of them taking her out of the emergency room and putting her in what looked like the ambulance, I was very surprised not to see some blood hooked up and being transferred into her.

 

In all the time reading on this board and hearing about the lack of value of life in Thailand I never really understood or even believed that it could be that bad. Now that I have seen it up close and personal, I realize it is even worse than I had read. Especially the value of the bargirls lives. The fact that the girl that did the murder wasn’t even charged with something is just disturbing.

 

I have very few connections in Thailand, but one thing I plan to do is talk to some people in my local restaurant and at a minimum see what they recommend as far as tying to get the police to look at this again.

 

In the meantime, if anyone knows where the girl that did the murder is, please let me know. The tattoo on her right arm is pretty unique.

After speaking to Noi and some of her friends, quite frankly I was amazed at what I perceived to be such a cavalier attitude about this, perhaps its the Buddhist philosophy (no disrespect). She had a great personality, and I enjoyed talking with her at Fahrenheit.

It's horrible news....why does it always seem to be the good ones that this happens to?
