Hey all,

I'm thinking of staying at this spot

http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/pattaya/eden_hotel_pattaya.html

http://www.edenhotelpattaya.com/

Sure, its a bit out of the way (I don't mind), but it's got great pool and large rooms at a low low price. Agoda lists them for about 700B

But most important is it girl friendly? Joiner fees?

If anyone stayed I would love to here some reviews.

Cheers

I'm not sure about this place.

I just had a look at the website and the place looks really really good for the price.

But in some parts they are marketing it as a long stay family hotel.

Not sure they would allow "visitors" at least not for free.

If you look in the photos section there are photos of kids playing in the pool and families sitting around.

Plus wedding photos.

I would love to hear a review of this place from a punter but considering the location I would pass on it.

Exactly. The family aspect makes me cautious.

Anyone else?

I decided to not stay at this place as I didn't hear back from them until just now, but for future reference this is the abbreviated email I got from them:

1) There are no joiner fees.

2) We are away from Walking Street about 1.5 km and we have shuttle bus service to the city center.

I think I will walk by this hotel this week as it seems like a steal, if you ok with being a bit away from WS etc.

They have a girlie bar also, just next to the hotel.

NOKSUKOU.

It will not be related to Agoda but more to the hotel, depends on the circumstances. The only place I've been to that had a joiner fee sign on the reception but said it would be free because I'd booked for 2 was the Pinnacle Grand Jomtien - really nice place but miles out the way. My advice if you're not sure is to only book the hotel for a couple of nights - unless your trip is for christmas most places are bookable on spec.
