Jomtien Richy House

Earlier in the year I decided to stay in Jomtien for 1 month and can recommend Richy House

 

Rooms are clean and with Double bed/big Fan/aircon/fridge/hot water and a balcony (wifi extra THB)

 

The owner seems a really nice man and is chatty and will sort any probs out. There is a launderette downstairs but wouldn't go there as there is a much cheaper one at the nearby beer bar complex. It's situated near monkey circle / jomtien new second road junction.

 

Price in March was 6000 THB + 4000 THB deposit (out of which comes the electricity and water - all metered in room for the water and elec meter is in corridor). Get the remainder of deposot on check out no problems.

 

1 months water and electricity came to less than 700 THB if I remember correctly and I shower often so thought that was very good.

 

I was well happy with the stay and there is a lift too if you are lazy. Electronic card key access to building and the maids replenish linen and towels weekly. pay extra I presume If you want it done more often.

 

If anyone knows of like places in or around Jomtien or even Pattaya Klang it's always nice to know ??

Near the monkey circle/jomtien second round junction

 

alternatively walk up Soi 5 away from beach. At top turn left, pass the 7-11 and 50 yards up the road on your left hand side

 

And as for the other question.....

 

I don't always stay in Jomtien and don't always want to be near the beer bar complex that is nearby (if you get my drift, i.e. there may be a BG nearby I don't want to see me going in or out of the building)

yeah true that, id stay there back in 2005.  but the rooms were old and a bit smelly and dirty. but its cheap for one month yeah....
