During my next trip to Pattaya I will also be going to Koh Samui for a friends wedding.

 

Any suggestions on getting from the airport to my hotel which is on Bang Por beach on the Northwest coast of the island. Also any ideas of cost?

 

I am struggling to get in contact with the hotel to see if they do a pick up from the airport.

there are mini-buses to chaweng and lamai regularly, about 150 baht.

so maybe to your beach also.

be aware of the taxi mafia there,

incredibly expensive, they are all in collusion.

might cost you 300-400 baht in a taxi.

I though taxis were banned from Samui airport?

Everyone I've flown in, I've had to use the airport vans.
